2025 Pride Storybundle!

It’s that time of year again, and this year more than ever it seems important to boost queer-themed SF/F that tells more than the tired old story of the tragic queer. Once again, Catherine Lundoff (author and publisher at Queen of Swords Press) and I have worked to curate a Storybundle that showcases a wide range of queer writing. There are stories that engage with threats to the queer world, and stories that imagine what our worlds might be without threats based on queerness; we’ve tried to find works of joy and resilience, across a range of identities. There are 14 books in total in the bundle, counting the generous bonus bundle. It includes novels, novellas, single-author collections, and anthologies, and genres that range from fantasy mysteries to cyberpunk to far future SF to post-apocalyptic fantasy. There are newer works and writers, and some older work you may have missed when it first appeared. It’s a great chance to investigate some of the best queer SF/F out there.

As always, you decide what price you want to pay. The basic bundle of four books has a minimum price of $5. For $25, you get the full 14 — ten more books — and the option to donate part of the purchase price to this year’s charity, Rainbow Railroad. Rainbow Railroad is an NGO that helps LGBTQ+ people escape state-sponsored persecution and violence worldwide, and sadly their work is more necessary than ever.
