Odyssey Workshop

I’m pleased to report that I’ll be a guest lecturer at the Odyssey Writing Workshop this year, lecturing on world-building. Odyssey, if you don’t know about it, is a 6-week residential workshop held annually at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. It’s intended for developing writers, writers whose work is approaching publication quality and writers who have been published but want to improve their work. It’s a mix of lecture/discussions and intensive workshopping; I’ve been a guest lecturer there in the past, and have seen some amazing work. (I also count some former students as good friends.)

The workshop will be online this year, alas, but I’m still very much looking forward to it. I can’t wait to read this class’s stories and to spend a day talking world-building with fellow writers.
